Young talents in GALÉRIA NOVOSTAVIEB
In cooperation with Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, Faculty of Civil Engineering, we have announced a student contest on the topic „Family Houses“.
On April 15th, 15 projects were presented in the first round of the contest, where the fans of GALÉRIA NOVOSTAVIEB could vote for the best projects on the website www.facebook.com until May, 31st.
Based on these votes, 8 projects with the highest number of votes were chosen to be exhibited in the premises of GALÉRIA NOVOSTAVIEB and to participate in the second round of the contest. Until July, 1st the visitors of GALÉRIA NOVOSTAVIEB will be able to see the best projects and vote for the ones they like the most.
The following students are currently presenting their projects in GALÉRIA NOVOSTAVIEB on Prievozská18, Bratislava: Vladimír Kosťun, Ivan Sedlak, Lukáš Zachar, Jakub Onderko, Tomáš Krutek, Mária Kočnerová, Marek Filčák, Eva Volajová.

In this case, the Internet magazine Stavebneforum.sk, approached one of the partners of the project Mr. Boris Skoda with a few questions.
Could you please sum up the main motivation and goals of GALÉRIA NOVOSTAVIEB? Why was it created?
This is the first platform of a kind where clients are able to compare various projects based on information given in one place, in standardized and united structure. This is very important. Our primary goal was to ease the process of purchasing housing. We wanted to give individuals a high standard, which they clearly deserve. Along with that, came another effect; processing information according to a united structure. This helps our clients to compare each project on a “same criteria” basis. The concept of GALÉRIA NOVOSTAVIEB also brings higher effectiveness of marketing communications and selling processes to developers. We think about Galleria Novostavieb as a tool, which increases the effectiveness of the real estate market. I think that the development of last month especially shows that this effect is needed and is helpful to buyers, as well as sellers.
What is the added value of whole intention of project?
The important part of our project is the Clients’ Service Center. Our colleagues from this department personally visited all the projects and now are able to supply relevant, complete and verified information from first hand observation. They can help with the process of housing selection and then, adjust the offer to meet the needs of the client. Our colleagues not only have the information about the number of available properties and pricing but also, about the philosophy of a project and any future development planned in the surrounding environment. Besides the supply of new housing, we can also help our clients to orientate in products of financing from banks. We are not a real estate agency and we don’t behave as one – after meeting with us, a client will meet with the developer. The interesting added value is that the legal contract arises between client and developer. Clients negotiate directly with developer according to his needs relative to price or other parameters.
What is the presenting capacity of your exhibition?
We should rather use the term “gallery” because an exhibition is something temporary and GALÉRIA NOVOSTAVIEB will be available long-term on a daily basis from 10:00 to 20:00. So if I count it, nowadays we have about 13 separated small show-rooms and 24 panels which give us a total of 37 advertising and presenting areas. In separate show-rooms a developer is able to present two projects; on panels, only one.
Who and according to what key was in charge of selection process of presenting projects?
We are trying to address as many developers as possible. To GALÉRIA NOVOSTAVIEB are coming those who are willing to present themselves against competition. The main rule of our business is that we are not communicating with the developers whose qualities we doubt. For the correctness also stands the fact, that developers can not present on panels something that is not verified. All the information presented is verified through inspection of property, communication with developer, or with offices. This also applies for visualization. For example, we had an incident, when the developer gave us visualization from the preparation period of the building, but the reality today is quite different. The project is the same, but there is a building built behind the project, which is not shown on the visualization, so, several corrections were required in order to present the project.
